First I draw a brief outline of him using a light 2B pencil and followed by some light shading of the face. Proportions went off, the hair and face is a bit out of shape and the bottom clothings are a bit long but still proceeded with the shading.

And at the bottom right, you can see theres a tiger-like brooch or something on his chest. I hate to draw that la. With all the complicating lines and tones.

Day 1

Then I proceeded with the hair. I used HB,2B pencil to mark out the hair lines and then 4B to do the shading. This is the first time I did this kind of Jap style hair and I think its quite nice la and its also the first time I use the tissue paper to produce the smudging effect.

Day 2

Next up, I did the glasses, clothings and part of the glove in 6B. As theres some hair overlapping the glasses, I know I had to create that feel but I don't know if I manage to show it. The glove made me spent the most time.

And also ar, all these pictures are taken using my camera and uploaded without editing anything so the pictures tend to be like reddish/blue-ish.

Randomness

I changed my blog song to a piano ballad, "Kiss the Rain" by Yiruma. Super nice and touching right?

The birthday boy on Tuesday asked from me a birthday card which I didn't prepare for him. I felt bad, you'll get it next year. =) He asked from me probably because I was telling him the day before his birthday that birthday cards are actually the nicest gift that one can receive during his/her birthday. And a card filled full of sincere words and memories is the nicest. Btw, Im not refering to those mass print inside got birthday wishes that type ar.

My sony ericsson phone is spoilt, Im using it as a Mp3 player cum camera now and my old Nokia 7270 as my phone.

And Tagboard also spoil la... Since the time when I asked for tags... Haha
