The pig year is here. And I was thinking that for the next pig year to come, I would be 30 years old. So so Diao. Ill be like very old and Jiamin will be even older. Wonder if she will look more like IreneAng. I dont see her in Culi classes anymore, so i'll not get pinched or screamed at. Just hope that we'll not be in the same class for next year. Ha.

I went back to Montfort the other day. I reached at 1o and the security stopped us from entering. They say that OLD boys have to wait until 11 when the CNY concert finishes then we are allowed to step into the school. They gave us 2 options to choose, 1 is to sit down on the floor near the security post and wait like quarantined victims, 2ndly is to do some CNY shopping at the neighbourhood stalls and kopitiams opposite our school. We choose the 2nd option. But not wanting to be squeezing with aunties and appearing "Unhip", we went to Macdonalds to have breakfast though I had already taken. I had pancakes with sausage, hashbrown and milk. The pancakes were very nice cos it was like soaked in the maple or honey syrup.

We went back and then talked to the teachers. Favourite teacher, clare choy was surprisingly still there cos she said in like 3 years ago that she will be retiring when she saves $100,000. Think she had already tens of thousands at that time. And to check with her this time, she said she had 80k le. So maybe ill only have 3 more years of teachers day to visit her. She then talked to us and we started the usual teacher-student game called "Guess the students names". And then she started calling out names (but never call my name at all), all was right except one, think liyao will be damn sad. I asked her why she didnt call my name at all. And she replied: Need to say de meh, Johnathan lar, how will i forget lor. (Im like so special) For your information, Clare is a very cool teacher. The way she talks and stand are so her. And remember the times when Eugene and I were like always trying to imitate her. She was like so so fierce but we were like so so not afraid of her and always joked around. Eg, when shes like using the visualiser, she accidentally or purposely showed her diamond ring and it flashed on the screen. We were like, whoah. Miss choy you buy Ring for yourself ar, later not enough to retire lor. Last thing bout her, she highlighted her hair with green, blue and purple before, then we asked her why she can highlight lor. Then she replied, cos I will not be a role model in the school, boys will have to look up to a male teacher and not me. Diao"."

Being back at the school brings back so much memories. Secondary school life is the best, i think. When we were there, we were the 04 graduates which is like the senior of the people going back to school to visit teachers. So damn old lo. Jm - OLD.
