Hi all, its 30 July today and 2 more days I'll be flying off to Taiwan. But there are strong winds and floods and natural disasters there la, aren't you worried for me? Or you are those super bitchy kind that will ask me: "Got buy insurance buy more more not?"

If its my friend who goes to Taiwan instead of me, I'll be the meanie and ask him to buy more insurance and also with more coverage hor! I think that's just me la but after all the bitching, I'll then show my real concern, Deep down my heart (actually not that deep la) I am concerned for the people around me(If you do not know and think what I say/do is like Boh Hyou(hue) like that then perhaps you don't know me well).

In my life, relationships play a big part, career a big part too. Quite a few people told me recently that they are short on money, is money that important as compared to the 2 I mentioned earlier? From my point of view, money is important and money and career comes hand in hand, so with a promising career, money will flow automatically to you la.

And...

For those worried and concerned about my well being, <I will take good care of myself and those people going with me are somewhat sensible so they will take care of me?? I don't know, or is it the reverse?>

Here's more photoshop stuff done.

I want to watch the movie as shown below. I've actually blur-ed off the particular movie poster that I want to watch and gave subtle(or is it prominent) hints what the movie is.

After the day of cystoscopy, I whipped up pasta with my mom. Tastes alright but it turns cold very fast la. (People cook and they'll say its nice but I say alright nia ar)

And some small small ambition of mine.

Some photos that should be here long ago.

Shuai Sia, I think.
Emotional man. Off to TAIWAN, byebye. Take care of yourselves.

4:42 PM

Its almost 24 hours after I had my Happy Mcdonald's Sausage Muffin $2 meal x2. And I'm beginning to feel better after the endoscope, but to be more precise, its a cystoscope.

And what is a cystoscope procedure leh? You can read here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cystoscopy

Or you continue reading on where I'll give an explicitly detailed account of my "once in a lifetime" opportunity of cystoscopy. Luckily everything is normal for me (damn it la, shouldn't have go for it lor)

The total time spent in the hospital is about 2 hours while the scope procedure only takes about 10 minutes.

With the regular waiting at hospital and after all the administrative procedures, my turn came and off I went to the surgical room. The room was cold and lights were pretty dim and it made me sleepy. I was asked to lie on the bed and remove my bottoms and they covered it with some cloth. If you didn't read the link, they are going to take photos of my bladder using a tube-like device that have camera, light and can fill water, 3 in one la through the urethra. Yes, its not through the asshole, its through the penis (=kukubird = kkb which I'm gonna use it later on), the urethra then the ureters and finally the bladder. YUCKS LA!! Really shouldn't have went.

Then I was still lying there, feeling cold and nervous and I asked the nurse why so long la. And she explained that its because they are waiting for the scope to come. Doctors/Nurses are all on standby, the main lead is not here yet.

Initially it was only 1 doc and 1 nurse. After about 15 minutes lying there, then suddenly ar, more nurses came, bringing the main lead in. And everything happened so fast. The nurse then say, going to expose you le ar. Then I replied orh, there's nothing much to say la.

Here comes the disgusting part.

The doctor first used some sort of cloth soaked in cleaning agent and cleaned the tip of my kkb and he like cannot be gentler la, clean also clean so rough. And he cleaned like 4 or 5 times lor. That's the starting point where I experienced the discomfort.

After which he took a needle filled with transparent liquid which I guess it's the anesthetic and I like "wah" la and before I knew it, he filled the liquid into the kkb tip. Luckily its not inject la. I thought he was gonna inject at that time.

And again, before I knew it. He started inserted the tube in le lor... I was quite tensed up and the people keep asking me to relax, machiam give birth to baby la. Then I took long breath ins and outs. Then I felt some liquid coming out, weird. And I was somehow squeuling and yanking and also laughing. "Yeah, you are doing good but you are enjoying it ar? " said the doc. NO lor, its super pain and uncomfortable la!!! And I began relaxing as the tube was already inside me (you all watch batman le mah? just like the joker put a telephone inside the criminals stomach la) and I can feel the my bladder contracting.

They took a few photos and off the tube came off and my bladder feels quite full now. They asked me to clean myself put on my bottoms and follow the nurse out. I felt pretty fine then but after about 5 minutes. I felt like going to the toilet to pee. After pee-ing, the pain come le lor. I even sit down properly and I stayed in the toilet biting my left sleeve and let the pain subside. Slowly but surely, the pain diminished. But until yesterday, I still feel pain when I pee. But now I'm almost 90 percent okay. =)

And here's the image of my bladders/ureters/urethras. Decide which one is which yourself.

GO TRY IT, its once of a lifetime experience. haha!!

And one last thing, the nurses are very friendly at TTSH Endoscopy centre. From admin to health de to bring food to you one. All very caring and friendly. And at the end of everything when a nurse briefed me about post-procedures and things to take note of, I told her:"You guys are great, very caring and very nice. Happy working!!" Gave her a handshake and a bow. SHE dunno how happy lor!! and she still have to pretend a bit and tell me to drink more water and byebye. HAHA!!

9:16 AM

ENDOSCOPY
Going for my endoscopy soon, scheduled at 1145. The doctors say its something not very painful, a normal and straightforward procedure where many people do it everyday and it takes only 15 minutes? to complete everything.

I'll update if what they say is true la. And thx JM ar, but the PICTURES plsssss....

Will be eating Mcdonald's before going for the scope, to make myself happier by eating a happy meal. No la, must be budget conscious and eat the $2 muffin deal la. But I'm changing the coffee to either milk or orange juice.

TAIWAN
Taiwan trip is confirmed confirmed. With 9 people in the group, 5 of us guys, and 3 Mdms and 1 Miss. And we will be bringing PSPs', DSs' to kill the traveling time la.

Yes, we are going on a tour and we will tour the major cities of Taiwan and quite a bulk of time will be spent traveling on a coach I think. It's the first time we going Taiwan leh... I don't want to be lost by doing free and easy.

And I've listed down the names to buy stuff for them from Taiwan. The list is not too long (my network is small la) and not too short (I'm a nice person whom likes to buy things for people and make them happy). But if you did'nt receive something from me, it doesn't mean that you are not important la. Probably just slightly off my priority list or perhaps I can't get suitable stuff for you but at the very least, still have some food to share. NO GUARANTEE though as I don't want to make empty promises.

FISH SPA
Im sort of fascinated by the fish spa now, you know those that come and bite off your dead skin cells. I chanced upon an advertisement in a magazine while cutting my hair. Fabulous Tans is offering 10mins for 10 dollars which I think is a bit on the high side. They let you do your feet or your whole body(which I think is more worth is la). So if any of my friend friend readers you all have good deals or recommendations, sms me ar.

CUT HAIR
I cut my hair le. Looks a bit unbalanced. But its short, which means easy to wash, easy to dry and easy to maintain. But its those must style then look nice de, but I dont want to style la. But anyway, botak in 1 month plus time.

DREAMS
I've been having weird dreams recently, like friend dying. And I read a book on dreams yesterday and it says that the dreams that appear are our desires. Which means I want my that particular friend to die? No.

The book also says that there could be a deeper meaning in it and should not be look at the superficial level (our brains are more powerful than on the surface lor). So one conclusion about this kind of friend die dream ar is that I like sad sad things la.

I'm a Sadist. (But I sort of felt sad when I had that dream la, even tear-ed lor...)

Going to bathe and have my Mcdonald's. BYEBYE.

I've been super active blogging la because I'm very free.

Here's a few videos, all of which are about music. Classical piano, Jap song, Chinese song and an orchestrated piece. And their pattern/style/type are those sad sad but at the same time beautiful, listening + watching can stir emotions, at least on mine la

I don't really surf Youtube, watch vids randomly unless I have something in mind.

To watch the videos without my background music interfering, simply click the stop (X) button at the top - right.

Here we go.

This piano piece "Kiss the Rain" is by Yiruma, a famous composer from Korea. I first chanced upon this piece in some random imeem playlist. I used it as my background music. I particularly like the starting of this video (0.06 to 0.18). I liked the way he played super fast at some of the parts.

And also, this music was used during the Sze Chuan Charity Show where QuanYifeng teared. The part where she was reading out a handphone message that a Mom left for her baby, in the end, the mom died and the baby survived. Because she protected her baby from the collapse building and debris with her own body.

Next up, its still a piece composed by Yiruma but not he himself executing the song. The white grand piano and layout of the room are evidence that the one playing is a rich kid and from the comments on Youtube, he is only reaching 20 this September. He did a remix version of "River Flows in You".

"First Love" by Utada Hikaru. Me and my friends were wondering if this is a happy or sad song long time ago and it turned out to be a song with both feelings in it upon understanding the song from the subs. And I like the the background blue lights very much.

I've been trying to sing this song but its too high la, still cannot execute it properly. "Yi Yan Shun Jian" by A Mei and Jam Hsiao.

Another touching song, "To be Loved".

Lastly, an orchestrated piece. Aerith's theme from the game Final Fantasy 7.

The Taiwan trip is confirmed. I'll be going from 2Aug and coming back on an evening flight on 9Aug which means I'll probably have the chance to view fireworks from the plane, but probability is nearly zero lor.

I'll be going with a tour group of 7 people of which 5 of them is our people and I think the remaining 2 will be damn sad lor. Because we will DOMINATE them!! Unless they are a couple living in their own sweet world and see us as transparent beings.

Go Taiwan ar, must buy lots of stuff and enjoy lor, and I had my Influenza jab to prevent flu for 25 dollars.

And my mood was super bad yesterday lor, reached home, bathed and slept. And I woke up at 7am today. Feeling fresh and super nice.

Hi there!! How is everyone doing?

Are you feeling:

Good/Bad/Excellent/Poor/Unsatisfied or Over the moon/sweating like a Pig/Happy/Sad??

For me I feel Good. I've been fully utilising my time and happy doing what I like; going out, have great food, friends and family all around, drawing, learning the keyboard diligently (just a little of it), playing with photoshop and of course blogging with lots of photos.

My 2 August Taiwan Trip is coming soon and so does my 12 Sep enlistment. I must enjoy as much as I can before I enlist lor.

Almost everything will change when I enlist. I think my life will then revolve around NS and nothing else lor. BUT....but...., I'll try hard not to. Hai, don't think too much la.

And here's the photos:

And this coming tuesday, gonna catch Red Cliff

And some photoshop playing:
I guess my rex friend here won't be angry with me ba.
And I completeeeddddd my drawing...

Artist's Comments (on my deviantart account) joch88.deviantart.com
Hi there!! Thank you for taking few seconds to take a closer look at my art piece.
This kid is 2 years-old and he's my cousin. I took photos of him during his 2nd birthday celebration and felt like drawing him.
I think I have improved by comparing it with my previous works and will continue to work hard. I'm open for any constructive criticisms and of course, compliments as well.
It's done on A3 paper and 2B, 4B, 6B pencils. It took me roughly 8 hours to complete.
And hope you all like it and feel:
Good/Bad/Excellent/Poor/Unsatisfied or Over the moon/sweating like a Pig/Happy/Sad.

Having all the expensive outings and treating people made me poorer lor...

And I want to eat Cheap Food from now lor...

But kana scolded by my secondary people lor...

"Go eat with girls eat expensive buffet, eat with us eat cheap food, its a fact la, dont deny it."

I declared I want cheap food le ar, don't accuse me again, haha.

In a bid to save money, my activities for this week and perhaps the following week as well shall be:

1. Draw
Currently I am drawing my 2 year old cousin and I'm left with the shading of the clothings. Next up will be a commissioned piece leh for a 2-month contract staff (nevermind if you don't understand). And also, I'm waiting for a group photo of my year 1 polymates to be send to me. And I'll draw it if I look considerably okay in it.

2. Swim
Have been swimming every weekday since last week and managed to finish 40 laps for every session. And I want to perfect the filp-turn la, but a bit hard lo.

3. Learn to play the keyboard
Bought a keyboard recently and have practised it for a day with those kiddy learning-piano books which includes very nice and cute songs and I sang out loud the lyrics. It's called BRAVERY la.

4. Sing
Singing at my auntie's pub is free de lor. Drinks inclusive as well.

5. Standing and sitting straight
Which is so hard lor... I realised I have bad posture and am trying real hard to correct it.

Btw I'm now blogging from Malaysia and just now, some car banged onto our car while waiting at the Singapore immigration checkpoint and he still sounded as if he was in the right.

And yesterday, some car horned----eddddd at me for like nothing lor.

These drivers ar, should be taught a lesson la. But since I'm NOT THOSE uncouth people who will get down the car and start arguing or even fight, I just wish they have some form of retribution from heaven. Like maybe the lighting strike their car or the wind blow their car and overturn it.

Not funny, I know.

Have a great day!!

Hi there, my longest post ever with lots of edited photos and combi of photos I did on Photoshop. Yes, I know I am very "ENG" to do all these, but as you can also see, I'm not that "ENG" after all with 4 group outings in a row and I'm still going to watch Hancock tomorrow lor... Spending and spending till I earn some money as a Recruit. Haha.

Here it goes.... And it starts with Friday ar...

We went Kbox with only like 3 ppl. Then 1 left for work after 2 hours of eating finger food and not singing. Then another 1 joined us 1 hour after the 1st one left. They have names though, just that I'm not using it only. And the last one sang with me some duets and introduced new songs to me and I like fu(4) huo(2).

The last one is the one that camwhore-ed with me. She brought her camera too and took a lot of pictures as well but being inefficient, she has yet to send us the pictures. And btw ar, in her camera there's a few nice shots of me, whahaha!! and a super funny video.

SO here's photos of the last one and Johnathan =)

And here's photos of me... I like this pic and in front of me is some black black thing which is actually another person. Up-ed the contrast and I think it is the person who camwhore-ed with me. Remove her from the picture so can only see me la.

But still, I should'nt be that evil la, cause she helped me take photos of ME only!!

And the 3 of us. And some friend of mine said I look like Jay chou in this pic, so hurt la. FOR ME. Jay chou fans, not happy ar.? I can smell it from someone with a B and a R and a E and a D.

DO I mean Bread? haha.

After the a-bit boring K box session. A bit only, not many bits. We went to eat Japanese Buffet at Suntec. Paid a whopping 43.5 dollars per pax lor. And a few others joined us. The buffet is the one with the commercial, Dong dong dong, 1, 2, 3, we are Kushinbo. Dong dong dong 1, 2, 3, Japanese buffet blah blah blah.

It serves those long legged snow crab which is super sweet and nice. Their fare is fabulous. Accompanied by random special treats where a bell will ring and the 1st 20 customers that queue up successfully will get say, lobster? or abalone?. We are no match for the experienced kiasu uncles and aunties. REALLY.

And we proceeded to the arcade. Super fun lor. Played basketball, hand reaction game, racing car (I sucked at it), Bishi Bashi. And I played until I sweat like pig. And the nice nice pics in the other camera is me posing to throw the basketball lor. Still got a bit of shuai-ness in it la, but SHE DONT WANT TO SEND. Or perhaps she is working and busy lor.

The person I lost to...

And the following pic shows you whats the difference between a man and a boy.

And introducing the emo-queen. She emo-ed since her best friend is leaving for Australia for 1 and a half years. The following pics are the evidence:

And and, some super cute guy smiled at her at 12am and she changed 360 degrees lor... You see. DO you think someone like me will spin lies???

A group pic without me lor. Because the full full group pic is not in my camera!! HUMPF....
Type until here, super tired le la. And I did'nt use any colour and big/small font size and have yet to check grammatical errors lor. I just type and type.
Here we proceed to, the next day. And before that, I slept at 3am and woke up at 6am for a run lor. Siao siao ar!! But I clocked 13 minutes for my 2.4. Super lousy!! And in the evening, we went Kbox AGAIN. But his time, we were given a super spacious room. 5 of us were in a room fit for 10.

And here comes NS and NS-to-be singing competition.

Competitors tired after all the competition. But where's prawnie??
Rehearsals.

We rehearse dance as well, you know. A singer need to compose song, sing well, dance and a lot more lor.. so its not that easy.

And most of you should know lor... The winner is me la... And they even got a CD-cover done up for me. =)

And heres to Aloy,

It'll be my turn soon. =(

Proceed to the last day. Bringing Korean tuition kid out.

He playing arcade.

Drinking.
Eating.
I guessed I could've write more bout him but I'm a bit tired to explain the details. And super sweet ice-cream.

And we watched Kungfu Panda and having watched once already, I told him there's a last scene after all the longgggggggggg credits and we waited. The whole cinema of people left except for one family which the son insisted to watch but the parents are getting super impatient. And I'll show you the last scene, if you had missed.

Its a scene where Po and Shifu sat down under the peach tree where wugui died and they were eating dumpling and a young peach plant grew out from the peach seed where shifu buried it(in the beginning when Po have'nt train up).

So what does it mean leh? "Eat dumpling also nice to see meh", thats what the mother of the impatient family said to her son that wanted to wait to watch the last scene. Its either she's shallow or she don't know how to watch movie.
And after the movie, the Korean kid's mom treated me to a Korean dinner.

Very nice. AND I went to sent ms poh ming xian off at the airport.

ALL THE BEST TO ALL OF US. (super tired lor)
